Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Director to lead the implementation of state government contracts. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless project execution, focusing on compliance, efficiency, and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution: Lead end-to-end project management for state government contracts, ensuring all deliverables are met on time, within scope, and budget.

  • Team Building: Collaborate with the hiring team to recruit and onboard new team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

  • Compliance Management: Ensure all projects comply with Federal Regulations for reporting and audit requirements as outlined in 2 CFR Part 200.

  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for state government clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met with exceptional service.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Operations Manager to schedule and deliver training classes. Coordinate with the Development Team to ensure timely and quality software delivery.

  • Subcontractor Management: Manage metrics, goals, and milestones for subcontractors. Track payments based on performance and deliverables.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, maintaining transparency and accountability.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of management experience, preferably in a government or regulated industry.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of Federal Regulations, specifically 2 CFR Part 200 for reporting and audit requirements.

  • Industry Expertise: Background in Weatherization, Energy Efficiency, or Residential Construction Management is highly desirable.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in hiring, building, and leading effective project teams.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software and tools; experience with software implementation projects is a plus.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.
