Role Overview: The Account Manager for the North Carolina HOMES/HEAR Home Energy Rebates Program plays a crucial role in streamlining and coordinating energy efficiency efforts across multiple programs and organizations. This position serves as a key liaison between the North Carolina Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), Duke Energy, electrical co-ops, and the state's Home Energy Rebates program

Key Responsibilities

Program Coordination

  • Collaborate with WAP, Duke Energy, and electrical co-ops to identify pre-qualified homeowners for energy upgrade programs.
  • Develop and maintain a unified database of eligible participants across different programs to avoid duplication of efforts.

Outreach and Communication

  • Inform pre-qualified homeowners about their eligibility for the NC Home Energy Rebates program.
  • Conduct targeted outreach to ensure equitable access to energy efficiency upgrades across the state.

Process Optimization

  • Work towards integrating application processes and eligibility criteria across different programs to simplify the homeowner experience.
  • Identify opportunities for synergies between programs to maximize the impact of energy efficiency initiatives.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Track and report on the success of cross-program collaborations and their impact on increasing participation in energy upgrade programs.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improving program effectiveness and reach.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of energy efficiency programs and rebate structures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with multiple stakeholders.
  • Data analysis and reporting capabilities to track program success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Familiarity with North Carolina's energy landscape and the specific needs of different communities across the state.
